The iconic Funky Pelican located at 215 South Ocean Shore Boulevard in Flagler Beach FL 32136, is known to most, for their amazing food, beach views, and funky chalkboard out front.

Management reached out to Ten8 Pressure Washing to remove marker, crayon, and other miscilannious inks off of their painted green chalkboard to revive a little more life before having to repaint it. I met with management and we discussed job expectations, that I would do my best to entirely remove all crayon and other inks to the best of my ability. Once we were in agreeance on expectations, it was scheduled!

I arrived the following night Once the business was closed, we applied a soft wash solution and began scrubbing as much of the crayon/ink off. Then on to the next step, WD40. Yes! WD40 will greatly assist in lifting the crayon off the chalkboard material, ask a teacher. lol.

The third step is back to step one. Soap it up and wash her down with a soft bristle brush.

I ended with cleaning the front concrete apron with my HOT water pressure washer (which helps with oils/grease/heavy foot traffic/those insightful gum spots) and the job was complete!
